Where everything on Wird comes from.
Quran
The Quran text (Hafs ʿan ʿAsim, as printed by the King Fahd Complex), the English translation by M.A.S. Abdel Haleem and the recitation by Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary are provided by Quran.Foundation; recitations play from QuranicAudio. The text is shown exactly as received, never changed.
Adhkar
The Arabic of every dhikr is copied exactly from Hisn al-Muslim (hisnmuslim.com), or, for two evening forms the book gives only as a note, from the hadith book itself; Quran verses come from Quran.Foundation. The English is the sunnah.com translation of the cited hadith, or Hisn al-Muslim’s own English. Each dhikr links to its hadith with its grading by a named scholar; weak or disputed ones are left out. Virtues are the hadith’s own words, and answers to questions are quoted from IslamQA. Nothing is written by Wird.
